data-mm-id=”_05h6m2n88″>Texas Tech hosted Texas in a Big 12 college basketball game Tuesday night and things got out of hand. While the Red Raiders trailed by 25, Texas' Brock Cunningham was rightly assessed a flagrant 2 foul for a dangerous play and, in response, Texas Tech fans began to throw things on the court. The home team was assessed an administrative technical as a result. Here's video of what happened and Tech coach Grant McCasland getting on the mic to tell them to stop:Wild scene in Lubbock. I think the takeaway here is don't be dirty on the court and don't throw things on the court or field during a sporting event. If you're a spectator, spectate. No one wants to see what your arm strength is like with the bottle in your hand. Texas won the game 81-69.

Mexico head coach Juan Carlos Osorio found a novel way of explaining the potential gulf between his players and Germany s in Thursday s Confederations Cup semi-final.
CONCACAF champions Mexico take on Joachim Low s 2014 World Cup winners at Sochi s Fisht Stadium, with the make-up of their opponents squad having proved one of the talking points of the tournament.
Low left a host of star names including Mesut Ozil, Toni Kroos and Thomas Muller out of his squad, giving them a close-season off before next year s World Cup and bringing younger and fringe members of his playing group to the fore.
This re-imagined Germany have excelled in Russia, topping their group as the likes of stand-in captain Julian Draxler and Bayern Munich utility man Joshua Kimmich have earned …

David Wagner hailed the incredible togetherness at Huddersfield Town after leaving the Premier League strugglers by mutual consent.
Huddersfield are bottom of the Premier League with just 11 points from 22 games and eight points adrift of safety.
On Monday the Terriers announced Wagner s departure after he asked to leave the club citing the need for a break from the rigours of football management .
Though Huddersfield have endured a difficult 2018-19 campaign so far, Wagner will go down as one of the best manager s in their history, having led them to promotion through the Championship play-offs in 2017 and then improbably steering them to Premier League survival in the next campaign.
And in a farewell message to the club and the fans, Wagner wrote on t…
Wesley Hoedt has joined Celta Vigo from Southampton on loan for the rest of the season.
The LaLiga club have the option to sign the centre-back on a permanent deal in the post-season transfer window.
Hoedt, 24, joins Sofiane Boufal in leaving the Premier League for Balaidos this term.
Hoedt s move will allow him to gain additional playing time between now and the end of the season, while also further helping [Ralph] Hasenhuttl to achieve his aim of trimming the first-team squad this month, Southampton said in a statement.
The club would like to wish Wesley good luck for the rest of the season.
Hoedt joined Saints in August 2017 from AZ for a reported fee of £15million, signing a five-year deal.

Jamie Vardy missed a second-half penalty as Leicester City could only draw 1-1 with Spartak Moscow on Thursday to leave Europa League Group C wide open.
Victor Moses put Spartak ahead early in the second half when he escaped the attentions of Leicester s defence and planted a firm header low into the corner of the net.
The Foxes equalised shortly afterwards when Daniel Amartey headed in from a corner, before Moses gave away a penalty when he hauled down Ademola Lookman.
Substitute Vardy stepped up to take the spot-kick, but Spartak goalkeeper Alexander Selikhov guessed correctly to ultimately secure the visitors a point.

Wasteful Premier League leaders Chelsea were inexplicably held to a 1-1 draw at home to Burnley in a game they dominated on Saturday.
The Blues were looking to win five successive league games for the first time under Thomas Tuchel and looked to be on course to do so and at least temporarily move five points clear at the summit when Kai Havertz scored 12 minutes before half-time.
But Chelsea remain without Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner in attack and conspired to miss a host of chances to extend their lead, opening the door for Burnley to respond.
Matej Vydra finished from close range nine minutes after arriving from the bench as Sean Dyche was rewarded for a late show of ambition, having previously looked content to keep the score down.

Turkey manager Guus Hiddink spoke of his temptation to return to English football after failing to lead Turkey to the Euro 2012 finals.
The 65-year-old is expected to be relieved of his duties as Turkey coach after his side were knocked out of the Euro 2012 qualifiers by Croatia, who won their playoff 3-0 on aggregate.
All three goals were conceded in Istanbul last week, before a goalless stalemate in Zagreb on Tuesday ended Turkey s hopes of reaching next year s finals in Poland and Ukraine.
Hiddink, who was in charge of Chelsea as a caretaker manager in 2009, hinted at a possible return to England and said he is not ready to retire.
I ve not made up my mind about the future yet, Hiddink said.

“In a competition that is so competitive and the teams are so close in terms of levels with each other then also you need the players to be available.”
United have dealt with more than 50 separate injury issues during the campaign, with Lisandro Martinez and Victor Lindelof returning to that list of absentees this week.
Ten Hag says the club “have an idea” why there have been so many issues and that “internally we will deal with it”, but refused to say exactly what that entailed.
The Dutchman did, though, reject suggestions that training intensity was an issue and that he should have brought in a fitness coach, pointing to the need for “very robust players” and the impact of a fixture-packed 18 months.

AC Milan have identified Fabio Borini as a potential replacement for Mario Balotelli, .
The Serie A side had made Chelsea’s Fernando Torres their top transfer target, though there are doubts over whether a deal for the Spain international will get over the line before Monday’s transfer deadline.
Borini spent last season on loan at Sunderland, where his seven goals in thirty-two league appearances helped steer them away from any fears of relegation.
He returned to Liverpool in the summer, but is set to fall further down the pecking order with fellow Italy international Balotelli arriving at Anfield this week.
In total, Borini has made just twenty appearances for Liverpool since signing from Roma in the summer of 2012, scoring twice.

David Silva refuses to worry about criticism levelled at Spain s style of play as they aim to move on from their World Cup disappointment.
After the defence of their 2010 title ended in spectacular failure with a group-stage exit in Brazil, Spain s possession-based style came under intense fire, with some referring to tiki-taka as outdated.
Vicente del Bosque s side got their Euro 2016 qualifying campaign off to a convincing start on Monday, though, with a 5-1 rout of Macedonia in Valencia.
Silva netted the fourth of his side s goals, and the Manchester City man insists he and his team-mates can not worry about how others perceive them.
We have to learn to live with the criticism, he said.
At the very least there are always doubts and at this le…
